I cannot pair my XPERIA SP with bluetooth on my HP dv7 under, W7 64...items identifies themselves fine, but Windows fails to find the apropriate bluetooh driver... I have updated all what I could, in the Xperia and in the HP, but my phone still appears as "unknown item"..
Any suggestion ?
Thanks
What is it that you would like to do over Bluetooth via your computer?
If transferring files you should be able to do this by right clinking the file and send to: Bluetooth device.
If you still would like to search for drivers, my advice is to look for the Bluetooth stack manufacturers drivers. You should be able to find them on their homepage or on the HP site.
True, transferring files works, but only in one direction, from HP to Sony, and using the special window dedicated to this operation, ( quiete tedious) ,drag an drop doesn't work...And I use bluetooth mainly for tethering, and It doesn"t work. Of course, I can use Wifi for this purpose, but I don't like to have a function not working. I paid for it; It should be working !
Thanks for your answer, let's wait for anay other advice...
i cannot send any files to my pc over bluetooth..its saying bluetooth drivers for windows 7 is mssing...
help please....:)
I posted for exactly the same problem, last week, and no solution was given. i'm afraid that it is a Sony issue, who fails to give a correct bluetooth driver, and then they can't help..
