Bluetooth issue

Hi there,

I've got problems using the Jabra Cruiser2 with a Sony XPeria E phone and the Google navigation software. The problem is that apparently the first ~10 seconds of each speech message/instruction is dropped, making the turn-by-turn navigation by audio pretty useless.

(Firmware for both devices is up-to-date)

The Cruiser works fine with other devices, so it seems this is a Bluetooth compat problem.

Is this a known issue? Who's to blame?

(Sony Support points to Jabra; Jabra support doesn't reply)

If it works with other devices then the problem is with the phone - why would something that works with everything else not work with xperia? Based on my own experience (or is it XPeria-ence?). I am beginning to suspect that it is a case of junk being sold in a good looking package.

It might be a compatibility problem between these devices. What you can do from the phone side is to check if it works using other BT devices audio devices and/or reinstall the phone using SUS.

If the phone works using other BT devices it most likely a compatibility issue between your Xperia E and this Jabra Cruiser.

Not helpful: it's understood that it's a compatibility issue.

The question was: is it Sony's or Jabra's problem? In the former case, are you working on a fix?
