Bluetooth disconnects from car

Hello All,

I updated to Jelly Bean hoping it would fix this problem, but no luck.

I easily connect to my car, I see all my contacts in the car dashboard, but I will get random disconnects (3min to 15min), after which using BT is impossible unless I restart the phone.

Since the scope of connecting the car audio system is to concentrate on driving and not fumble with the phone, this is VERY annoying.

My old Moto Flipout did work fine for hours.

Any ideas on how I could troubleshoot this problem?

Where are BT log files?

Well, the first thing to do would be to look up what bluetooth profiles that are required by the car system. This to see if they should be compatible at all. Xperia Go supports the following bluetooth profiles:

Advanced Audio Distribution Profile v1.2

Audio/Video Remote Control Profile v1.0

Handsfree Profile v1.5

Headset Profile v1.1

Object Push Profile v1.1

Phonebook Access Profile v1.0
