Using Jabra EASYCALL Bluetooth headset, but connection is working unreliable: Sometimes in the middle of the talk party is unable to hear me, I still could hear party. In this case party usually ends conversation, and then we do call again, and after re-call, party can hear you again, but at any time it could happen again.
Also sometime after pairing headset and phone phone is reporting that connected, but won't let use headset, still using phone mic/speaker. Sometimes it is enough to turn Bluetooth off/on on the phone, but sometimes I have to do this several times, optionally including headset on/off.
I'm pretty sure that this is Phone problem, because same headset is working flawlessly with older Xperia phone and also with many other phones and also.
Does Sony actually do anything about posts on this forum or is is just a pointless venting exercise for all the participants?
I would have thought that an obvious bluetooth problem warranted some kind of response.
I have this issue with my Xperia Z1 ( C6906). I have three bluetooth headsets Plantronics Legend, Motorola Sliver and Plantronics Pulsar 590. None of these have issues with my past phones (Samsung Note, Note 2 , HTC One).
The online support guy says that I have to buy a Sony Bluetooth headset to be compatible with the Xperia Z1.
I have just switched from a blackberry 9320 to a sony xperia z1 compact and the phone will not connect with the built in hands free unit in my vw tiguan (RNS 510). The phone will not pair with the car unit and the car unit shows a message 'sony xperia phone is not compatible'. I have tried connecting with the wifi turned off but makes no difference.
Is it the case that the phone can't connect or is it a problem with bluetooth that can be fixed with a download? Very disappointing as its a great feature of the car. Any ideas for a solution would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Brigsaw
