I am currently on my 3rd Xperia Z1 within the past couple of weeks. All have been having the same problem of Bluetooth audio will stop playing randomly.
It happens regardless of what music app I use. I have use multiple BT connections and all have the same issues, when I was on my S4 everything worked fine.
Has anyone else had problems like this?
I have the same issue I think... can't really tell if it A2DP whatnot.
(Using Spotify)
I have have Jabra Revo Wireless Bluetooth headphones. And I can tell you my problems are bigger then yours. I checked the web for any reports of issues like this, but nothing like this.
To get things straight; I know the problems is with the phone since I tried the headphones on my Galaxy Note 10.1 2014, old Galaxy S2 and bunch of other smart phones.
When I try on my XP Z1 it will at certain times work "OK" but often it will do following;
- Stops music
- Skips tracks forward or backwards without me thouching any controls on my phone or headphone.
- Start and stop music
- Weird clicking and other sounds suddenly mixing in with the music.
(Often the ckicking and thumping sound is a prelude to the above weirdness)
All of the above is 100% not present in my headphone when used on other devices and things works correct with headphone jack is used on my phone.
And I have the latest Android Installed and other updates up to date which include the so called "Fix" to bluetooth.
Your not alone my friend.
