Blank Screen when adding a new account

Hi everyone

Z3 (D6603) on marshmallow gives me trouble trying to add an activesync account. I go to Settings>Account> Add New Account> Active Sync. Then I enter the credentials as given by my institutions' IT department. If I say next it doesnt' find server settings. then I try Manual Setup, but it gives a blank white screen and doesn't let me change manual settings. Is tehre a bug in the Accounts app?

can you try the following?

settings>apps>exchange services>clear data

restart your device. then try adding the details again

if still not working. try to software repair using Xperia Companion

I don't see Exchange Services in settings>apps. I only see Email. Is this normal?
