Blank pictures in photo album

For a few months now some photos in my album are showing up as blank images. I keep deleting them but every day they re-appear. It's very irritating. I have updated to the latest android version of 4.2.2.

Is there a way to stop this from happening?

make sure to have a lock on your phone like a code or so since once this happened to be and when you accidentely hit the power button and while in pocket it will activate camera by move ments and then being taking blank pictures if thats what you meant? if so then activate a lock on your phone so this wont happen

Please clarify whether they are blank images or dark images or broken images. Dark images imply images taken in pockets accidentally. Blank images - I don't understand. Broken images imply partially downloaded images.!

Thank you for your response. I am not really sure, they seem to be broken images.

Thank you for your response. I will put in a lock code on my phone and see if that works

The image you put up shows that the image files were corrupted or partially downloaded. I don't think there is a way to correct those images.
