Black Screen

Hello,

I have a Sony Xperia J, only had it since Feburary this year. I have never dropped it or put it in any harms way for it to be damaged. However, i have no screen. I turned it on and its totally black, I think the back light has gone on it, but how though? Please help

You can always try to perform a software repair on the phone via PC Companion to exclude software related problems:

In PC Companion you press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Repair phone/tablet (the blue clickable link in the message) > Follow these steps without having your device connected to the PC.

Follow the instruction that appears in the program and do not connect your device until this guide tells you how to connect it.

But if there are no improvement, I suggest that you contact your local support team for further information about how to proceed with this in the best possible way:
