Black screen?

Hi Everyone,

I have a problem here with my phone and its almost a month. I've kept doing research and a lot of reading about my problem but it seems no one has the solution.

The problem is my phone Xperia L has Black Screen problem. I know my device is still working but it doesn't have display, I've already have tried the SUS and PC companion many times but doesn't help and I already brought it to a service center and they've said that there's a problem within it's board and I decided not to do replacement or repair since the warranty is already over. I just keep wondering that maybe someone can give me an advice because I've been wondering if I go for a replacement or maybe I someone here already solved the problem without changing any hardware or board. I hope I can here from you guys.

My device status.

Battery is still working,charging

Sim card and SD card still working, I can call my phone and I can also play music by hitting play button on the earphones.

Software and firmware fixed no problem with software

Touch sensitivity still working because I can still shutdown the phone whenever I want to without removing battery because I still remember the screen options if I hold the powerbutton,(Shutdown,Screen Capture, etc.)

The real problem is no display at all. Hope someone can help me or maybe someone can suggest to recycle it because I can't afford to buy board replacement,it cost a lot.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Well, if the service center says that the mainboard needs to be changed i don't think there is much you can do by yourself unfortunately. I'm not a technician so I can't really say exactly what has caused these issues. To get this phone repaired, you should let the service center repair it.
