black listed z2

I got a contract from EE with a Sony z2.Then that one got water damaged and sent off to Sony for repair, used that phone for around 3-4 months then I lost signal, got in contact EE to see if they could fix the problem, spent a few days trying to get to the bottom of it and then EE took the phone off for repair and came back blacklisted but with it being a different imei number EE couldn't do any thing about it, I have not missed any bills or reported phone as lost or stolen, advice?

When you 1st had it repaired did you receive any paperwork stating the phone had been replaced? if not then you would need to contact Xperia care as without proof EE has no evidence that the phone you are handing in is the same phone which has warranty - For all they know it's a friends phone and you are trying to have it repaired on the side or you are trying to pull a fast one

They should or I'd hope so because if not then for all you know a staff member has pulled a fast one which in reality is theft
