Black line on screen.

Hi

On screen of my xperia P since 3 days i have a black line - it is thin and it goes from top to bottom.

It is located on the right side of the screen - something like 1 cm from the edge.

Sony please help, what should I do? This line is visible in every application and it is very annoying!

Can you make a screenshot (on ICS powerbutton+volume-down) and look if the black line is present there. (the screenshot itself not the screen)

If it isn't present in the screenshot your screen isn't working properly.

In that case return your phone to sony to let it get repaired.

Do you think it is a hardware problem?

There are instances when the black line disappears and then suddenly reappears after some time.

That's very odd.

It may be hardware related, but in any case I don't think you can fix it yourself.

A technician from Sony should look at this.
