BKB50 frequently timeout

I notice BKB50 will disconnect from Z4 tablet if left idle for about 2-3 minutes. It takes about 5 seconds to get it up and re-connected to the tablet. I found it quite annoying every now and then when I resume typing after a while I have to hit a button on BKB50 and wait for 5 seconds before I start typing. Is there any way to make the timeout period longer? Or any other workaround? Thanks a lot!

on  a side note, the tablet it's supposed to be released on June 17, 2015, and today's date is June 7th, how is it that you have it?
