Try not to use battery savers,task killers,free ram apps.Disable phone functions like wifi,data,bluetooth,nfc when not using them.Keep the brightness on auto.Try to restart phone regularly,it is essential for android.

Restart could mean just turn off and turn on again.You can also try force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).
