Bent z2 tablet looking across the bottom edge? Worried about screen cracking further down the line?

Hi my tablet is bent I'm thinking it's not normal? Also the screen is very unresponsive and requires multiple taps to hit a key sometimes. Has anyone else got this problem? It's only 3 days old and been used for a few hours.

While I don't have the Z2 to compare, i know for sure something is wrong with yours. Was it already bent since you bought it? You might need to go back to where you bought it and inform them of the issue. Or go back to the service centre.

My first Z2 tablet was bent like yours; luckily for me Amazon replaced it with a newer one that's ok...

This is a really common issue it seems. Mine is bent too and it also creaks if you press on certain spots on the backside. There is a user collecting and counting infos on the tablets of users that have bending/creaking issues and there are quite a lot. But Sony seems to be as ignorant on this issue as they are on all the issues widespread in the community. Once you call support they will tell you they never heard of such a problem and maybe you sat on your Z2 or something like that. (Cited one user that had a conversation with Sony support and also speaking from experience with my Xperia Z which had the tension break issue of the glass that Sony still does not acknowledge exists)

Hi thanks for the replys, I'm really not happy about it or the fact sony don't have moderators online replying to issues. One thing they can be certain of they will be getting the tablet back. I would like another one but if they are denying the problem exists then that's bad. I think it's a poor effort with regards to customer service and don't wish to deal with a company that does business in this way. Any moderator care to comment?

I'm suffering this problem, I take my tablet to the customer service after twenty day's of buy it and what say Sony? "You loss your guaranty for incorrect use" and Sony keep selling a defective product tricking customers
