My Sony Xperia mini was bought eleven months ago. It used to need charging every three days now it sometimes need to be charged 3times a day.... does tis mean my phone has to be thrown away soon....
really concerned
check what's draining your battery, it might be an app, it might be that you are syncing something or poor coverage, or just that the battery its old and cant hold as much charge as before; which will happen to all li-ion batteries.

the question is -since its a built in battery- what happens to the phone when the battery dies? ..is that the ENDof the phone? Or did Sony Ericsson make some sort of provision for that.
i would be very disappointed if its the end cos my Sony Ericsson usually lasts me years.
you get 3outer shells, and one body with a built in battery that cannot be replaced- how fantastic is that
really concerned
you have 2 options
1) take it to a Sony repair center so they can tell you how much it will cost you to replace the battery
or
2) replace it yourself, it's a LOT CHEAPER
