Battery problems after Second upgrade same Kitkat

It's getting stranger and stranger with Kitkat.

When i did my first upgrade to 4.4.2 i had many problems,  but nothing with the battery.

Mij working time was more or less the same.

But after the second update with the same 4.4.2 (number),  now my battery runs down much faster.

In a very short time it went from 99% to 75% doing nothing special !

If the second update was not exactly the same as the first,  it wasn't an improvement either.

What a mess!

Check which app(s) is/are draining your battery

It's mainly 50% screen,  which is with about 15 to 20 % brightness.

If i go lower i can't see anything anymore.

Everything is the same as before the second upgrade.

It's the upgrade that did the job.

This is stupid!

And we are going to wait for another 6 to 8 months until we have 4.4.4. to scr*w up new and others things .

I can't wait!

That's normal, the screen should drain the most, turn off your bravia engine, but again, that's normal.

So with a normal use its draining my battery all of a sudden.?

That's precisely what most other users  complained about

The strange thing is,  that it happened only with the second install.

It tells me their upgrades are a mess.

And still nothing from Sony!

you have to be more specific, are you running heavy apps or games, how long does it take to drain from 100% to 50% which apps are running, how long the screen has been on

settings > power management > battery

I don't play games,  and today i only was on the internet. (no movies etc)

All light activities.

I know the power management.

I will do a battery check-in-time later,  and a recalibration.

But the battery worked fine before the second upgrade.

So the circumstances are the same,  only the system is new.

It's all so frustrating to spend more time repairing the bl**dy thing, than actually working with the Tablet.

I have a similar problem: I upgraded (unluckily!) to Kitkat at the end of July. I have not yet done the second upgrade (I will probably try it presently). The battery behaved regularly until last week. But this week the battery is always going down extremely soon  with no apparent reason.
