Hi!

Try to turn off your phone and take the battery off for a few minutes.

You also could try other app(like battery disc) to check the health of your battery.

And also try this http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/154243#154243 and see if helps you.

Let us know if some of these itens helped you.

Best regards !!

Hi!

Thanks for your suggestion.

I have the latest version of PC companion and android version 4.0.4 (latest)

Installed an app of battery health and checked the health. It says battery health is GOOD.

Also followed the instuctions mentioned on the link, but still the same problem.

What would be the next step?

Regards,

Wajid.

If neither an update/reparation of the phone's software solves the issue I'd recommend you to hand your phone in to one of our service shops so they can take a look at it and fix it.

Contact your local Sony Mobile support for info of how to proceed and handing your phone in. You can find contact info on the link below. Slightly_smiling_Face

Anguished_Face  NO way my friend. we can't do anything. Whatever you can do,the battery still came down quickly. Its a smart phone. but dont do anything like smart things. If you use browser the fully charged battery came down  quickly to 60% from 100%. if you hear any music or watch a video (not videos) the battery drain very quickly.

so if you want to keep your mobile alive, you must put down your screen brightness as very low and you must change the network mode to gsm. Dont make more calls and then you dont use your browser, walkman, video player, wifi, bluetooth and etc and etc..... Then only you can keep your mobile alive for a day completely without charging

Battery is the lonely problem in this phone. except that, xperia is a MASTER OF MOBILES

if sony continuesly launch like this worthless battery powered mobiles, they will loose their reputed customer in very soon and their good will too

Simply said, xperia and its battery is like "A HUNGRY ELEPHANT WITH A SINGLE BANNANA"
