Battery overcharge?

I just charged my xperia e overnight  .Does that mean will it over charged? will it damage the battery ?

No,Li-Ion batteries do not charge after reaching 100% full charged state.But it is recommended that you disconnect when they are full charged.Also,do not let the battery discharge completely.

No, the phone and battery wont take any damage from this. So you don't have to worry.

and some times i forget to charge once it reach around 1% mark and it shut downs.Does it heart to the battery?

Yes,it is not recommended to let the battery discharge too often.But once in a while there is no problem.
