Few days back, I got this issue - my cellphone(Arc) was not getting charged even after prolonged hours of charging. I gave it to service guys, they said its the s/w problem. Here are the engineer remarks : SW Application Problem, Software upgrade tested ok.
But now even after the s/w upgrade, I am facing the same issue. I even asked the engineer to test my charger and they said charger is fine. Indeed it is fine, here's what exactly happening to the phone :
1) When connected to PC, the phone gets detected -> but it doesnt get charged, the battery icon at the top will indicate that its getting charged but on the contrary it starts getting discharged.
2) When connected to power-plug, there's certain limit till the phone gets charged, last time 56%, again the battery icon will indicate that the device is getting charged, but it wont.
I googled a lot on this problem and I dont see a concrete solution. My phone is under warranty and I bought it for 28K. I dont think the phone is worth it, if it has started giving problems at this stage.
Please help.
