battery issue

i have xperia s ics 6.0.A.2.55 rooted and with unlocked bootloader but the battery life is very bad plz help

Well, it's really hard to say anything if you don't give us any more info.

How long does the battery last? What apps are you running? What does the battery info say in the phone and which apps are draining the battery?

the battey only lasts for 4 to 5 hours and i dont have much apps installed on it just 3-4.battery info shows 60-70 percent battery is consumed by android system.

if its rooted and unlocked, do you also have a custom ROM installed?

well you should show us some screenshots of ur battery consumption from say 100% to 15% ..

the screenshots should contain .. Main graph , screen time , all apps comsumption overview

plus how much signal strengt u get usually on ur phone ??

i am asking all this coz ever1's definition of poor battery backup is different
