Battery dying at 60%

Hello,

For a week now, I'm having an issue with my Z1 Compact. Suddenly the device started dying at around 20-40% of battery capacity.  I assume it's something to do with faulty battery capacity readings or worst case faulty battery?

This one here, my phone restarted and it showed 83%. The next day, it died at 60% anyway.

PC Companion Repair did not help.

Is there anything else I can do on my own to try and fix this before I take to the service center?

Thank you.

Hi @Fiwiv, I'm sorry to hear about that. Slightly_frowning_Face

When the phone shuts down, can you start the phone as normal or do you have to connect a charger and let it charge or a while before you are able to power it on?

Since you have performed the software repair it's sounds like it's related to hardware and I'd follow @uliwooly advice and get in contact with your Local support as soon as possible so they can assist you with having your phone sent to an authorized service centre.

Your local support team are the experts on your specific market and will be able to answer any or all your questions regarding service routines, warranty and so on.

Let us know how it went! Slightly_smiling_Face
