Battery drains quickly

I dont have any problem when stamina mode is on nd the phone is in the idle mode. I loose just 1% of the battery or not even tht when the phne is idle nd stamina mode is on even after 7-9hrs. But when i used the phne on 3g for browsing or watching movies thr battery drains very fst. I get only 3-4hrs of battery.
Is it normal?

Well,WCDMA drains battery very quickly,it is normal.Try to disable other apps or services while surfing the web.

When using 3g or wi-fi network battery won't keep you forever...it is normal for the battery to keep you less...now it depends on how much do you spend on net or watching videos

a bit off topic, i was wondering ( kidna stupid question ) what is better, charging the phone powered off or on ? i mean for better battery life

I do not think there should be much of a difference,if you charge it turned off and it reaches 100%,if you remove the charger and turn it on,it might lose something on the boot.But I cannot say if there is not really a difference.You can also charge while phone on until you get the message "full" in settings-about phone-status.

Im facing issue with my battery. Yesterday i kept my xperia sp for charging arnd 1am nd when i woke up to turn of the switch arnd 6am the battery had jst charged 45%only. I kept the phne charging nd when saw at 10am still it was around 85%.
Previously it ised to take only 3-3.5hrs to get fully charged.
Plzzz help wht shuld i do frndsss

Have you tried with different USB or wall charger?

You could try a forced shutdown of your phone(press the little button on the back).Also,charge at a wall socket.

but now the battery is draining very quickly. I hve lost 20% of battery in just 10mns
Im doing browsing on 3g net..
Wht the **bleep** is happening with sony's phones...

I tried wth another charger nd another usb but still it takes more tme to charge
15% in 1hr
