I can assure you that it is abnormal for the battery to drain 30% in one night. mine got drained 25 % because i set multiple alarms and prolonged snoozing.

if the battery hasn't been like that in the first and few days you perchased the phone. most probably was some settings that went wrong or some apps issue.

and extra points are switch off GPS when you do not require it. switch of data and wifi when not required. set the brightness to ard 60-80 % with ambient sensor on . I feel that is optimum for xperia V.

The sudden drops in battery level looks to be because of the display being on. If you look at the blue dots under "Screen on" you can see that the display has been on during almost every drop in the curve. As the display consumes alot of power those drops are normal.

What's strange is the battery level going up like that without you charging the phone. Perhaps some glitch in the battery meter. Have this happened more then once?

This also happen to me, when not using the phone suddenly the battery level is going up. And also sometimes when I turn off my phone the bettery level is really going up and after some use the battery will drop again. Is this a bug? I have updated my Xperia V to the latest SW done a factory data reset but still the battery meter is the same since the first day I bought the phone. Is the Extended Standby mode has something to do with this?
