Battery drain while browsing through sim......

I experience a sharp & sudden battery drain when i browse 2G/3G internet, and then it rises again when i switch off the internet.

For eg. if battery is 70% and i browse for about 10-15 mins, battery indicates about 45-50% but if i Disable the data and keep the Phone on standby, it will come back to about 65-67%

plzz help.......................
