Battery Charging Issue

I have a problem in my sony live walkman phone.

after upgrading to ICS, i'm experiencing a charging issue. when I connect the phone to PC, the PC recognize the phone, but the battery level gets reduced every time when i try to charge my phone (via PC and wall charger.) I have tried with some other charger as well, but it doesn't work.

I have tried with some other battery, still when the charger connects, the battery gets discharging.

Please let me know a solution. is it due to a H/W issue or S/W issue?

I am having the same issue and on the same day as well. Its weird, this can be a software issue, i chatted with customer support they advised me to update(reinstall) software. But it still doesnt work. :smileyangry::smileyangry:

Any other live with walkman owner having the same issue???

Just to clarify, you are looking at the build in battery status and not a 3rd party battery monitor, right? I've had issues myself with some 3rd party battery widgets and such that does seem to go bananas from time to time, showing low battery levels when the battery is charging.

If a software repair doesn't work, you should send in the phone to a service center for repair.

Yes i am looking at the built in battery status. I contacted customer support via chat and they told me to try updating(Reinstalling) I tried that but its still the same. I have arranged a call back from tech support today, lets see what they have to say.
