I usually leave my phones data on even when I fell asleep. But last night I was shocked. My phone died, I bet it had drained its battery. Then I tried plugging it. Red led light went on for only a few secs then it turns off. My battery charges only at 1% then remain at that. I tried the soft boot method but its not working. I have been charging it for hours but still no increase in battery was seen. Please help. Thank you.
Try this: press both power button and volume up at the same time until you feel one vibration, keep them pressed until there will be three vibrations. Connect the phone to charge and turn it on.
It's not working. By the way, its the 2nd time that it happened to me. Yesterday I have my phone updated with the latest software. After that my phone went not charging at all. I tried your method.. it worked because my battery's not yet drained to 0. But now its drained and its not working at all.
In this case, I suggest you first try to disconnect the battery using the button near the SIM tray and still give it a try to charge the battery.
If still not working, contact your Local support.
Okay. I'm going to try that.
I hope they can figure out this issue.
Thank you.
Good luck and keep us updated.
I had exactly the same thing happen to my phone. It did what you described a few times but eventually packed in and wouldn't turn on at all. I thought maybe I just needed another charger but that didn't work so I took it to the "the fone works" shop in Hanley, Stoke on Trent. They opened up the back and saw that the battery had swelled. They ordered me a new battery, put it in for me and it works again.I was worried it was going to be a software issue costing me loads to fix or a factory reset being needed which would make me lose all my files but no, the fone works fixed it for only £25.
Alright then I guess I really need to bring it in the service center which will cause me a long time of having no CP at all.. (sigh..)
Thanks!
