Hi All
I've changed my battery yesterday and when I put the phone back together there was no wifi. I took it apart thinking that I missed a connection but could not find anything loose.
Since then I've found out that some people had issues with WIFI since upgrading to Marshmallow so today I downgraded to Lollipop but still no luck. Wifi isn't available in safe mode either
When I run a test the WIFI passes, GPS fails. Looks like I can't turn the wireless on and also noticed that the MAC address now is 02:00:00:00.... Not sure what it was before but this is not normal
Tried to google where the wireless module is on the motherboard but could not find it. Checked the RF antenna/cable, it's connected fine
Oh, when I replaced the battery I have taken the NFC antenna off the old one and stick it on the new battery, that seems to be working, although have not tested it (I mean I did not use it, test passed fine)
Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
Thanks
Thanks, that's the guide I used. Now in the comments section I see someone mentioning the camera bracket being the wireless antenna. Do you know if that is true?
