Ban the spammers?

Ok, last days these spam threads were few and I could withstand that, but this is getting ridiculous. Spam thread are taking all spaces, pushing user created threads down, which makes this forum useless. Pleas take some measures to ban these users or change registrtion to prevent this.

Yes, I'm aware of the situation and we're working on a solution for getting less spam (for example some captcha when registering). Right now all spammers are deleted manually along with the content but hopefully we can get a permanent solution up and running soon.

That's what I have been doing, I've reported near on 80 instances of spam.

Why did you remove the announecement of keeping away spammers??

We are working a lot on keeping the spammers away. A few thousand threads and users has been removed so far. Keep on reporting the threads when you stumble upon spam-threads.

I'm personally trying to both answer the questions asked along with removing the spam. When you report the threads it's much easier for us to remove them quickly.
