Hello.
Analyzing the system in the .73 firmware I have seen that you i can´t make backups of our apps and their data due we haven´t permissions on the /data filesystem. In the /system you allows read but in the /data we should have read/write/execute but we can not access it, with the consequent problem of can´t make backups of our data ( /data/app ; /data/data )
Any solution?.
Who can i make a screenshot if i haven´t access to it ???
Go to / and then access to /data . This is the user filesystem but don´t have user permissions . Only root permissions.
either or you need to root your device, I'm surprised you had that option before. You will need to root your phone then either do it manually or use titanium backup
You say me that if i don´t make root I can´t make backups of MY DATAs ?
In my old Samsung, HTC, .... in all models and systems android from 1.5 to 4.0.3 , WITHOUT root and similar to any linux systems, the user filesystem have read/write permissions to one group that include system user. And root is restricted, but /data have correctly permissious. In XperiaS the /data filesystem have wrong permissious. And it´s severous error.
if you use root Explorer you can't access it, but if you use OI File Manager you can give it a shot
But , what doy you expect to see in the screenshot?. The filesystem /data must have full permissions for user because is where you store the apps and user data and does not. Among the /data with RootExplorer, OI File Manager or adb shell does not allow it because Sony mistakenlyleft him with access only by root. And it's a big mistake that a user does not have filesystem access to this filesystem. And it's a big mistake due root terminal to do so,when in very many cases we can not to have it because the bootloader are closed.
Root Explorer:
OI File Manager:
Adb Shell:
The access to /data is correct but in it , system user can´t see or access to /data/data or /data/app
And here the evidence that the /data/data and /data/app exist because in ALL ANDROIDs this is the folder to personal data and personal apps. And without access we can´t make backups.
My XperiaS, like that of millions of users is taken from an operator and has the Allow Unlock Bootloader = NO . We can´t make root.
I would keep checking the XDA Forum for alternatives
There are no alternatives. It is a problem of rom / Sony original firmware.
This problem we have millions of users with "Allow unlock bootloader = NO " in HTCMania, XDA Developers, ....
