Backup /data

Hello.

Analyzing the system in the .73 firmware I have seen that you i can´t make backups of our apps and their data due we haven´t permissions on the /data filesystem. In the /system  you allows read but in the /data we should have read/write/execute but we can not access it,  with the consequent problem of can´t make backups of our data  ( /data/app ; /data/data )

Any solution?.

you need to root your phone to access that data, rooting could void your warranty

I Know this solution, but if i buy a mobile I like make  my backups without having to root. no?

use OI File Manager or any file manager which folder are you trying to access bc I went to

Android -> data -> and I was able to access and copy everything

The most important folder , /data/data , have permissions 700 or less. This indicate that have all permissions for root ( read/write/execute ) but none for group and others.

Access with apps to explorer folders, or with adb console is restricted. Only root can access to it.

And...i have programs to make backups of SMSs, Call Logs, ...and i have made backup of /system/app . But is a error give access to /system/app and don´t give access to /data/app or /data/data . The most important personal folders  ...restricted.

I buy a expensive mobile and i can´t make my personal data backup and cant make a system backup !?!?

you do need to root to do so, it's not just sony it's across all Androids.

My old models of android, since android 1.5 to android 4.0.3 , without root , had access to /data/data and always have been make my backups. Other models restrict access to /system/app , but never to /data/app or /data/data , because this is user filesystem.

for some reason I can't find data/data, where exactly it's located?

The filesystem is /data and in it , the folder app is personal apps. And personal folder of personal apps and system apps  normally is /data/data or /data/privatedata, ....

Its a big error can´t access to personal folders .
