Hey guys, I know this is kinda awkward but I have questions about rooting.
First of all, I already have performed rooting many times ( xperia go , and xperia acro S) those phone which would have performed good on ICS compared to my older one, Xperia Active which I have decided to stay put on GB,
Now since my xperia active is already out of the 1 year warranty period (yay! i only got to use the warranty for a spare waterproof back cover),
I want to flash CM10 Jelly Bean based ROM, but the problem is that it has the .62 firmware which as we all know unrootable by one click, so i have to flash another firmware and do the root process, HOWEVER, i came to realize that my phone is using a customized firmware, ( its actually Xperia Active Billabong Edition) and if I will try to root and flash another firmware, I would lose the branding of the phone (I know it kinda shallow for me, but it was one of the reasons why i bought the phone since the billabong branding is only exclusive to few countries) and as I already said, I dont want to upgrade it to ICS since it is an EPIC FAIL.!
well to cut the rubbish story short, how can I backup my current firmware without root?

Hey Nabeel :smileyhappy:.
I have not yet unlocked my bootloader,I am still looking for ways to my make ROM back-up without root, so far only ADB method seems to be possible.
Try that
Is ICS available for your phone ?
yeah, .ICS .587, but I don't want to upgrade yet, until I have backed up the GB rom,
I think I will also be making a tft of the ICS rom once I backed up the GB rom,
lol, I never had problems with the gingerbread that's why I never bother to backup, now I regret it,
but if sony would release a perfect ICS , i would update right away,
