Backup an encrypted Z3 Compact

Hi.

PC Companion is unable to backup my encrypted Z3 Compact.
Error message states that backup is not possible because the phone is encrypted.

Do Sony have any solution for backup/ restore of an encrypted device?

Or do encryption mean no backup? Lost phone equals lost data.

Cloud storage is not an option, I encrypt the phone for a reason.

But actually if it like that on Android it is something to push by manufacturers... there was no problem with backing up encrypted iPhone through iTunes. it only asked that backup would be also encrypted.
