Back camera black screen

Hello. The back camera to my Xperia z3 compact just went black and I can no longer take pictures. The front camera however is working. I have tried restarting my phone and even done software repair without success. I have read forums on this and it seems it's a common problem with Xperia z3 compact. Anyone with a solution please?

have you tried running diagnostics?

try to boot on safe mode?

does the camera work?

try to perform a software repair , one last time. to see if works,.

Hi. Tried software repair again plus restarting in safemode to no success. Think it would be a hardware problem?

Hi.

I have the same problem + a problem with Flash LED:

• In setup mode (*#*#7378423#*#*) I could also not see the picture from main camera, just navigation icons - front one works.
• LED can not be turned off else but restarting device (once I did manage to turn it off by fiddling in Diagnostics...). Icon in the curtain turns off but the light remains lit.

Both problems started at the same time, I think after some program (or maybe app) upgrade - not sure.
