aux cable does not work in the car

I can't connect my phone through an aux cable to any car.

Iphone, nexus 7 and Samsung galaxy work fine.

What can I do?!

I have and aux in my car, and it works well, only with not very good quality sound, because the sound in this device is bad in general.
Try clean aux in of your device, and if it not works, try updating the smart connect, alterar this clear data of smart connect, and restart your device, sometimes the smart connect dont work fine and the device dont plays sounds.

Headsets work fine and all the other devices produce sound. I already cleaned the jack and there is still no sound.

I really don't know what to do.

Try updating the smartconnect on update center app,and clear data of it and do a new smart conecction for your car.
Also try with another jack cable, or take your car jack cable and try it with another speaker and your phone, or try with a converter to jack omtp to ctia, you can find it in ebay for example.
