automatic commas

hi everyone

first post here. I've just got my phone and have been tying to personalise it. I've been managing ok but there's a setting i cant seem to turn off a setting. When I've been testing and using certain words like "and" a comma is inseted automatically.Ive tried googling the answer and searcging the forum but no luck. I've removed the quick fixes, not got the automatic space setting on and have no word suggestions on at all. surely there must be a simple way of turning this off that I'm not seeing? I have customised the keyboard layout so it contains full stops and commas but surely it shouldnt insert them automatically? any help appreciated

Perhaps you have accidentally saved the word 'and,' in the phone. Check it under settings > language and input > settings icon for Xperia keyboard > my words.

Hello! Try backing up all of your data and do a factory reset. I'm not pretty sure what is causing the problem. If you did the reset, but you still have the problem, try another keyboards, like SwiftKey or GoKeyboard. They are free on the Play store and way better than the stock one.
