Automatic brightness wont adjust right

ok ive had ths problem once before in that my xperia play will not adjust to the right brightness settings if i go outside and look at it i can see it a little but not enough to do anything with it and if i go inside it just goes to i cant see it at all. last time this happend waited a while and it just suddenly started working do you think i should wait and see if it comes on or just take it and see if they can find out whats wrong with it.

     any help you can give would be much appreciated thanks

the latest 2.3.4 update solved this issue

go to

settings -> about phone -> software update

or use PC Companion or Update Service

btw do you have the verizon version of the Play?

if the update it's not available on your country/region/network

you can manually update your phone

ok the 2.33 update got rid of this problem u can now turn the auto brightness off and make ur phone really bright which is awesome so just update ur phone to the 2.33 update
