Auto rotate Icon

Can anyone help with this annoying little problem.

I was using my Z3 looking on the web for a picture when the screen auto rotated and would not come back to portrait mode.

I selected the auto rotate again even though it was already ticked, and everything seamed fine.

But now I have noticed I have a new icon in the notifications bar for the auto rotate icon, I have unselected it and tried everything to get rid of the icon but I have failed miserably.

Can anyone help me please?

Pull down the notification bar > Edit (the icon with a pencil) > long press the icon > drag it to the top bar

Sorry to say but this did not get rid of the icon. It just changed it from auto rotate to portrait. If it Is in the top bar or the lower field it is still on the notifications menu and I can't remove it.

It should remove the icon from the quick settings.
