Audio optimizations make no difference

#Hello all, when I turn on the "clear audio" feature under settings/sound and notifications, I cannot hear any differences coming through the hearphones. Activating presets in the equalizer also doesn't feel any different. The hearphones are original.

I'm running the latest Android 6.0, and from what I can recall, it worked a long time ago before updating the device to 6.0.

Any suggestion?

if you are playing HQ flac lossless music files there wont be any big difference,.

try to restart or your device and replug your headphones,

try toggling DSEE HX and switch to Clear Audio, that way you can here the difference,. as for manual equalizer, try to change the slides to adjust the quality
