Arc's wifi problem

Today i took my arc and my friends X10i and connected both phones to same wifi network and downloaded the same game but my Arc's wifi after every 5 minutes regularly dropped singanls but X10 with good speed downloaded the game(30 MB) and Arc just downloaded 1Mb.....

can Sony please change the Arc's wifi software like X10

what a speed boost by Arc after disconnecting X10i ... it downloaded it in 10 minutes what x10 downloaded in 30 minutes

Have you updated your Arc to the latest software? As far as I know, there was some updates regarding the WiFi in the latest update.

Please try the update via http://www.sonyericsson.com/update and reply here if you still have issues.

I'd updated my phone and its build number is 4.0.2.A.0.42

for you i'm also uploading the shot of PCC showing my phone is up to date....

i'm currently in china .... please help me with my wifi problem ..it's annoying...

so, just to be clear, your phone was fine after your friend disconnected his X10i?

So if you are the only one connected, you are fine?

In this particular case, that actually sounds more like an issue with the WiFi network

you were connecting to, rather than a problem with your phone.

Does it behave like this on every WiFi network you connect to?

i was saying that wifi speed was good when disconnected the X10 but after disconnecting X10 it still dropped wifi signals after regular interval...

sorry to say, that sounds like a problem with your router, rather than your phone - especially as

your phone works elsewhere
