arc s hotspot and USB tether problem

i have problems with my hotspot and tether,i can connect my laptop to it but it sayd no internet connection. I also tried to use Pdanet but it's still the same. The mos surprising part is when i tried to activate hotspot via Pdanet an error message shows that my handset doesnt have a hotspot feature. Please help me out..

You could try to update or repair your phone software via PC Companion to check if it's a phone problem.
