Hello, it is I, the girl with the previously busted screen.
The screen has been replaced as of today and is working wonderfully, however, when I got it back from the repair shop, the home key seemed to be not working. I took it back in and explained that the home key was perfectly fine when I dropped it off and then he claimed he never touched the home key and all he did was replace the screen.
Did I get screwed and he's tampered with something in trying to get more money out of me, or is there something else wrong here that I can fix myself?

Ran a repair wtih PCC and then a factory reset on the phone itself and then just tried again with SUS.
Nothing.
Also, I've just noticed that it seems as though the vibration isn't fucntioning either....?
it's not a software issue, it's a hardware issue, contact Markus or Jeff here on this forum, they might be able to help you on this issue
