it all started when i restarted my z2 from power saving mode ultra,after restarting my apps where missing ,and the gmail said that my phone is not compatible with google services and to contact sony ,on the same day after this appened i updated it ,and it was in the same.
my apps are still on the sd card and on the phone memory
I always had a lot of caution with the phone ,so i know it cant be a virus

I also have the problem. After ultra stamina mode, almost all the apps are gone.
What do I do now? 
When will the software update be provided? I can't use my phone normally now 
Same problem also.
And no solution up to now from Sony.
My solution will be staying away from Sony for the future.
It's a shame to buy an expensive smartphone and cant even use it for very simple phone functionalities.

If you have this issue i recommend that you try to perform a repair of the phones software using PC Companion.
Start PC Companion without connecting the phone and select Support zone -> Software update -> Repair phone and then follow the instructions from PC Companion but please note that this will delete all data in the phone.
In case the issue should remain this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, please contact your local support team.
Thanks! I repaired using the PC C. Everything went back to normal except I lost all the apps.
I reinstall the apps from Play. Everything goes back to normal.
I hope the bug is now fixed and it won't happen when it is switched to the Ultra Stamina mode.
Glad to hear that your phone is working again 
If you haven't already, i do recommend that you try using the Ultra Stamina mode again to make sure the issue has been solved. Our developers have investigated this and it's not a general issue with the software so it might have been an issue with the software in your unit.

I tried once, and it worked perfectly.
In fact, it never happened to me before either, it just randomly happened to me a couple of days ago.
Anways, nothing is changed, just a bit of back and forth.

It's hard to say for sure but since it's working now it doesn't sound like a hardware issue so i suspect something happend with the software installation in your phone when this happend which should now be solved as you've made a repair in PC Companion.
Thats because after disabling Ultra stamina mode you need to reboot for the changes to take effect
