Applications' name hidden

Hi everybody,

I just bought an Xperia U and I updated its OS to Android 4.0 ICS.

Once the update was completed I noticed that the applications' name, if too long, have one or more letters hidden.

For example the application called "Performance assistant", with normal font's size, have the "P" and the "e" hidden half.

I would know if there is a way to see the full name different from setting the font's size small.

Here is the screenshot:

Yes, somewhere must be config file with setting of spaces between icons, or dimensions of each icon. You need root to access Android file structure. But after my investigation I didn't found any config file with these parameters. In Android user interface is no option to set this.

For example in GoLauncher Ex I can change size of icons and so on...

Is this problem common to all Xperia U with Android 4.0 or should I change firmware?
