Application notification led not working

Hello,

I bought Xperia M 2 days ago. From day one I started encountering notification led issue. From a couple of posts I realised that I have to turn stamina mode off to get notification led working.

Now with stamina mode turned off, I noticed that application specific notification light setting do not take effect.

For e.g I set Nofitication Light option ON when I receive any message on whatsapp. When I get any watsapp message, the led does not glow. Same with email.

Are third party application not able to control the notification led?

Go to 

Settings > Display > pulse notification light must be selected

There's no such option as the one you mentioned in the Display section.

And obviously I have turned on Notification option in the Ligt Effects menu under Display menu
