app versions

afternoon.  if i update an app from the market on google play does the xperiaZ keep the old versions? And if so where? just dont want to be taking up too much memory like on the older devices. any help would be good CHEERS

It depends if it is a system app or third party app from Google play store that you update.

For system app's the original version of the app is always kept in /system/app which you can't delete by default. Any updates for these app's will be stored in /data/app which can be deleted.

For third party app's. These will be stored at /data/app and any updates will replace the previous version.
