Hi,
I have downloaded skype app on my computer for my xperia
but i can not transfer this file to my mobile.
Please suggest me how can i transfer this file to my phone or how can i install this app.
thank you
Using your phone's browser, go to skype.com/m and download the application directly to your phone.
Hope this helps.
sorry for my late reply,
actually i have done as you recommended earlier
but after installing that it shows it will only be used by Telkomsel users.
after that i have downloaded "Skype 1.0.0.983.apk"
but unfortunately i am not finding that downloaded file.
if any one can help me on this issue i would be realy grateful.
thans a lot.
To transfer the file to your phone use your USB and with the phone connected to your PC you can copy and paste it to your phone then use a file manager such as Astro to locate it on your SD card and install it. You may need to ensure that Unknown Sources is ticked in Settings>Applications.
Not sure how well Skype works on the 2010 phones so maybe this is an issue too.
On Skype's website, it mentions that you can also download the application from Getjar.com, so perhaps doing this through your phone's browser might work.
there is no skype version available for xperia x10 mini pro 😞
is there any other option ... so that i can continue vedio call with my family
its would be realy helpful
thank you
Which version of android OS are you running on your phone?
right now it is Android 2.2
http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skype.raider&hl=en According to this, your should be able to make video calls on 2.2 (using rear camera only), even though the xperia 10 mini pro is not on the list of certified devices (click on the More link to the right of the page). Perhaps if you use the above link in your phone's browser, you may be able to download/install the application from the top left of the page. You may also want to read some of the user reviews on this site.
thank you so much
