Any way for reducing only notification tone?

Friends is there any alternate way for decreasing a notification volume?i uses some apps but it lowers the ring volume too...

there are no seperate volume adjestments for this mobile sir.ringer volume and notification volumes are in one tab only.usually we keep ringer volume in high.so we can here whereever we are.with that notification volume also increasing.so it became iritating big sound appearing when message arrives.i need that notification volume low and ringer volume high.so,there is no seperate notification or atleast sms volume for this mobile.so that i can revieve and send sms peacfully...got it what i trying to say?

open the quick settings app -> tap volume and take a screenshot (power button + volume)

u can see here the notification tone is disables.and if i increase volume the notification tone is also by default its changing as like vollume tone...

Now I understand what you are saying, that's the same on Android 2.3.4, there are apps on the market that will control only the notification volume but you will have to do some research on the market

but by default ringer & notification go hand on hand
