Any real solution to echo during hands free in car?

Looking at the messages here I can not see a fix for the echo when using a nokia bluetooth hands free car kit.  Has anyone at sony come up with a fix for this yet?

i have just purchased this phone dual sim version and have problems with existing hands free bluetooth cat kit that has been fine for years with all other phones.

my software is up to date and I have tried all combinations of call options for call such as switching on/off noise enhancements.

thanks

Anyone got ANY ideas?

i tested this by calling my mobile from outside my car. It echoed no matter what levels the volumes were. I even took the mobile out of the car to eliminate the phone mic being part of the problem. It still echoed.

Is there some kind of of software processing going on in the phone and this is interfering with the hands free nokia Karen kit processing or is this a bluetooth comparability issue.

it seems to me a basic request and important to get this kind of usage working as it is a phone that people use in cars...

my motorola headset does not have echo.

help from anyone would be appreciated.

thanks

My phone don't have any echo when is connected to the Bluetooth system of car. Check in Settings - Call settings that "microphone noise suppression" and "speaker voice enhancement" are switched ON.

Thanks valyo_bg but I have done all combinations. I am using a cw-7k nokia car kit that has been trouble free with many phones but this xperia m4 has problems using it.

does anyone remember seeing any other threads on this issue?

thanks

To avoid echo, Bluetooth car kit must have 2 microphones, like Xperia has. I suppose that this echo is for other party of call - they hear you with echo? You can check if there is some options for adjusting of settings regarding microphones  on car kit itself. Other thing that can minimise echo is to lower volume on Bluetooth car kit. Also you can try to move location of Bluetooth car kit if it is possible.

I had done all of that before I started looking on the site.

Thanks for trying to help.

Does anyone know more about this if it is a software bluetooth issue. It doesn't make a difference to the poor quality when I put phone outside car. Also the car kit worked fine with other phones and is set up in the car professionally.

There are no adjustments I can make to the car kit as it is just a black box with wires.

I found an old thread on an dad developer forum that suggests it may be the phones registry settings......

any sony people know?

thanks
