I dont' understand why they just impose us to use this great phone (Neo V) with really annoying "light sensor" to set auto brightness. I think usage of the light sensor should be optional, i am sure no one will argue this. I want the option about it in ICS and i am sure that i am not alone. Please leave us to decide if we want long lasting battery or bright and nice screen.
Please pass this issue and to authorized persons and let them know.
umm well actually u r wrong .. i tried the app and it is still the same i mean the sensor is working ...
i tried the app you suggest but i agree with 100rabh791, didn't work!! there is no option to uncheck or check the auto brightness, you just select the level of brightness (0, 25, 50, 75, 100) or arrange it with slider or select the auto option. i select 100% and cover the light sensor with my finger, the brightness decreased. when i pulled my finger away so brightness increased. you just try to cover the light sensor and see the change!!
well there is no way to disable the light sensor ... except for rooting your phone
well wait for ICS ... hope we will get an option then
I hope.. if many people make posts like us we can get it!
well this issue has been reported earlier ...lets wait for ICS
I installed the App suggested and I no longer appear to have the flickering problem on my Neo, you have to double tap the widget to disable auto brightness!
which app did you install ?
