Android upgrade for Xperia Mini Pro

Hi,

I own a 2011 Xperia Mini Pro handset. It's android 2.1. Does Sony Ericcson have any android upgrade for this model?

I browsed thru the website. It says Android 4.0 upgrade has not been released for this model yet. What about other Android versions above 2.1? Can my phone be upgraded to any of these? Please let me know.

Your device is a Xperia Mini Pro or a X10 Mini Pro??
Xperia mini pro was released with Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is upgradable to 4.0 (ICS)
X10 Mini pro was released with Android 1.6 Donut and is upgradable to 2.1 (Eclair)

It's Xperia X10 Mini Pro. Sorry for the wrong information provided earlier.

My device is already Android 2.1. I was thinking to upgrade it into higher versions

No official updrage relased for your device

Anyway you can find some cooked/custom  rom (for examble on XDA forum) but remember that:

- It will be void the warranty of your device and in case of any issue you won't receive support by Sony
- If during the process something will go wrong,  you could brick your phone.

- A cooked rom may not function at 100% and some featues of the phone may not work.

- Your device has a low end configuration (600mhz and only 256 MB of RAM) that are too low for a good experience with andoroid 4 or above.

I don't want to take any risk in this case. So won't go for the unofficial upgrade.
